Maintenance Checklist

Inside the cabin(s):

Start washing and drying linens, etc.
Start washing kitchen stuff (dishwasher or by hand etc.)
Clean floors (using a broom, dust mop, vacuum, wet mop, or whatever is appropriate)
Wipe down kitchen counters and range top (cleaning grease splatters with 409)
Comet kitchen sink, and bathroom sinks/toilets
Clean out your perishable food from the refrigerator and freezer
Windex high traffic window marks.
Replenish the paper supplies in baths and kitchen.
Close any open windows (including the A-frame loft and Bunk House).
Turn off all electric heaters (including small bedrooms)
Put fire out, restock firewood used.
Pick up game room, and put TV remote back where it belongs.
Take trash and recyclables out to containers in garbage collection area (wood shed?).
Fold and put away cleaned linens and/or remake beds.
Put away clean dishes from dishwasher
Lock and deadbolt doors.

Outside the cabin(s):

Put away equipment and/or beach toys from deck and beach area.
Put away boats, oars, life jackets, etc.
Sweep off decks.
In winter: stack deck furniture under eaves or cover with tarps, etc.
Cover fire pits
Replenish used propane extra barbecue tank(s) if 1/2 or less full.
Lock up tree house swing.
Haul garbage cans and recyclables to top of the road for Friday a.m. pick-up
